Christmas Gifts Of Life

Forty-one people in war-torn Manipur, India, have something to be thankful for today. In contrast to the volatile situation all around them, stability has come into their lives in the form of special Christmas gifts from Gospel for Asia's Christmas Catalog.

GFA–supported missionaries distributed these gifts to impoverished residents of their community to provide a source of financial stability. The gifts included rickshaws, bicycles and sewing machines, each of which will help a family earn an income to provide for their needs.

Many of the people who received the gifts were not Christians. Now, along with the gifts, the message of Jesus' love has come into their lives.

"The people who received these gifts were so grateful to GFA for blessing them beyond their expectations," GFA's correspondent wrote. "They thanked the Lord!"

A local political leader attended the gift ceremony as well, which gave him a chance to hear the Good News shared during the distribution.

GFA workers request prayer that each family who received a gift, along with the politician who attended the ceremony, will come to know Jesus' love deeply in their lives.
