Villagers listen to the GFA team's message that Jesus is the answer to their problems, not drugs.
The students and staff marched with signs and spoke out against the ruinous effects of these addictions in people's lives. Many people working or passing by stopped to see what was going on.
When the GFA team stopped in a village, they sang songs and performed a skit that showed how one life could be shattered through addictions. People gathered to watch, and as the crowd grew, a GFA staff member shared a message about men's and women's bodies being temples of the Lord. He told how God offers the answers and hope for which people hunger and often turn to addictions to satisfy.
The team's goal was to motivate its listeners to help eradicate drug use in their country. They also shared how addicts were not hopeless human beings, but they need love and help to recover.
The team requests prayer that their presentation will have a lasting impact in people's hearts and change lives, helping people turn to Jesus for hope.
