Miracles Reveal God's Glory

Eleni Malhotra felt her body burning all over. The sensations often made her faint, but there was no physical reason why she would feel as if her body was aflame. She tried various methods to get rid of the feeling, but everything failed.

When her neighbor told her about Pastor Dhritiman Saxena, a Gospel for Asia-supported missionary who worked in her village, Eleni approached him and asked for prayer. When he prayed, Eleni was miraculously healed.

Eleni is one of the many in one region of South Asia seeing miracles performed in their lives. Through multiple GFA-supported pastors and missionaries serving in the state, countless people are coming to know the Lord after witnessing His mighty hand touch their lives.

A Blood Flow that Would Not Stop

Hetal Verma is one of those people. For many years, she had a disease that caused her to constantly bleed, and she became fragile and anemic. She took medicine prescribed by doctors to heal her, but her health did not improve.

Then Hetal heard about GFA-supported pastor Nigam Gupta's church and the many people there who received healing from Jesus Christ. So when church members invited her to attend their worship services, she readily agreed. When the service ended, Hetal went to the pastor and elders to ask for prayer for healing. She had little faith that the disease that plagued her life would be taken away, but once they began praying, her doubts were stilled because she discovered she had been completely healed.

It was the first time she had experienced such power in her life.

A Bedridden Son

Umang Bhatnagar also experienced God's great power when He healed her son from an illness that had kept him bedridden from the time he was only three months old. When the women of GFA-supported pastor Randhir Mehra's church saw Umang's child, they invited her to attend their women's fellowship meeting. While Umang was at the meeting, the Word of God touched her heart, and she asked the women to pray for her son.

The whole church got together the following day to fast and pray for the child's complete healing. When Umang saw her son's health improving, she praised the Lord and gave her life to Him.

Whooping Cough

Nishtha Kapoor couldn't get rid of the terrible cough she had developed. Day after day, the cough persisted. When she heard the testimony of a believer at a GFA-supported pastor's church, she was encouraged and visited the pastor to ask for healing.

He shared with her from the Word of God, which helped her believe in the power of Jesus Christ. She prayed to Jesus and asked Him to heal her, and the Lord heard her and completely took away her cough. She shared her testimony of God's saving grace and healing power with her relatives, who then started attending church with Nishtha.

A Demon

Mimi Sharma roamed the streets naked. This mentally ill woman was also possessed by a demonic spirit. Her family took her to witch doctors for healing, but she only got worse with each passing day.

They contacted a GFA-supported pastor in their region and shared their story with him. He opened up the Bible and started sharing the truths written within. Their despairing hearts began to fill with hope as they listened to God's Word.

The pastor, along with Mimi's family, fasted and prayed for Mimi's deliverance from these demonic attacks. After a week, Mimi was freed from the bondage of Satan and is now living a life that is deeply rooted in faith in Jesus Christ.

A Few Horror-Filled Nights

Maina Chopra's nights were filled with horrifying nightmares. She would wake up shouting with fear. Her family knew an evil spirit was attacking her, but they were scared to help her.

Then, through a GFA-supported pastor, Maina's parents heard about a God who could heal their daughter. They asked the pastor and the believers of his church to pray for relief for their child who was suffering from demonic oppression. After they prayed, Maina was restored, proving the mighty hand of God.

These are just a few accounts of all the miracles the Lord Jesus Christ has done in the lives of South Asian believers. There are countless more stories of His glory waiting to be told!
