Cows

Cows
Cows seem to be everywhere in India but many poor families don't have one. Cows provide a lot of good milk to drink ... and to make yogurt, cheese and butter! They also produce calves that can be sold for income or used to produce even more dairy products for additional income. A dairy cow is one of the most valuable gifts you can give. $440 provides a cow for a needy Dalit family.

As a result of the Asian tsunami, thousands lost their boats and nets-and with them their means of supporting their families. Lambs

Lambs
Lambs are an eternal symbol of God's love for us in the gift of His Son. What better way to share His love with a poor family than through a lamb that can grow to provide wool for income and milk to drink. A pair of sheep can produce lambs that can be sold at market, and they are also a source of meat. You can share these living symbols of God's love for only $60 each, $120 for a pair.

Pigs

Pigs
A pig may not sound like a typical gift, but if you were a poor South Asian family, it would be brilliant! A pair of pigs provides a litter of piglets every year, and pork can soon follow. Income from the sale of the piglets also aids the family, and offspring given back to the church will help other families get a "leg up" economically and socially. You can give a pair of pigs for only $65

My Donation:

Rabbits

Rabbits
You can give a pair of rabbits and help ensure a nutritious diet for growing families as they produce up to 40 bunnies a year! After a pair is given back to the church for distribution, additional offspring can also provide income for the family as well as nourishing meals. All this for only $12.50 per pair.

Men and women in Asia can hear hundreds of programs over GFA Radio. People who are exposed to the Gospel through radio tend to be more receptive to native missionaries when they visit, and thousands have given their lives to the Lord through these broadcasts. LED Solar Light System

LED Solar Light System
In areas where there is no electricity—such as low-caste or Dalit villages—good lighting at night is unobtainable for many. An LED solar light system, running on solar power with a seven-year battery, would be a special blessing for people in such places. For $125.00, you can provide an LED solar light system, a gift that will not only light up a home but also can point people to Jesus, the Light of the World.

Vocational Training

Vocational Training
In South Asia, the ability to make a decent living often involves vocational training that is beyond the reach of the poor. As a further witness to the Gospel, GFA is teaming up with local churches to offer training in such practical fields as welding, sewing or other basic trades. You can give a gift scholarship for a training course for $38 and help someone climb out of poverty for good.

New House

New House
A new house for Christmas? This is the dream of people in Asia who have lost everything in a natural disaster, or who have lived their entire lives in a shanty. For $5700 a simple, sturdy house can be provided for a family. This house will show parents and children that there are people called Christians who loved them enough to provide shelter for them . . . and that Jesus loves them as well.

Child Hope Pack

Child Hope Pack
The opportunity for a Dalit child to receive an education and the love of Jesus is the best Christmas gift imaginable. Your Child Hope Packet will make it possible for an "Untouchable" child to go to school. Your gift helps provide school uniforms, books, tutoring and help with homework, at least one nutritious meal each day and a yearly medical checkup. Children in the program will also hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many times, entire families are changed through just one child.
A $60 Hope Packet can change one child's life for all eternity.
