That's why they're used for everything from ploughing to transportation to hauling goods. Camels can carry up to 150kg across soft desert sand, where trucks would quickly sick. Camel milk is also part of many diets in Rajasthan, and camel wool can be woven into cloth. You can buy a camel for a Dalit family for $410.00.

Help Those Less Fortunate To be a widow in South Asian society is to be viewed as cursed. She is blamed for her husband's death and left to fend for herself. Abandoned and orphaned children face similar circumstances and are forced to provide for their own livelihood. They weave in and out of busy city traffic, begging for a few coins or searching for food in rubbish dumps. They live on the streets.

These precious women and children need to hear that Jesus loves them. For $90.00 the Widows & Abandoned Children Fund provides GFA supported missionaries with the means to help these beloved women and children of God.

Weaving A Future. Northeast India's tribal villages are known around the world for their beautiful, hand-woven textiles. Entire families make their living weaving cloth and sewing it into garments, handbags, hats and household items.
