How Bridge of Hope Works

For only $38 a month you can bring hope to a child!

When you send your support for the child you sponsor, Gospel for Asia forwards it to the field office in the nation where the child lives. The funds are then exchanged for local currency and sent to the Bridge of Hope leaders who oversee the center in which your child is enrolled.

What's unique about sponsoring a child through the Bridge of Hope?
  • 100 percent of your sponsorship is sent to the mission field. Nothing is taken out for administration or fundraising.
  • Your child, his family and community will hear the Gospel.
Often churches are planted in unreached villages this way.
  • Your child will learn English, the language that will open the
doors of opportunity and help him break the cycle of poverty.

What Does A Child Receive?

Bridge Of Hope Children

As a sponsor, you give your child:

The opportunity to hear the Gospel. Your child will learn Bible verses, stories and songs that clearly present the message of Jesus' love and His redemptive sacrifice.

Education. This includes tuition, books and uniforms. But even more significant, learning to read and write means that a future of hope is guaranteed.

Nutrition. During the school day, your sponsored child will receive a healthy, balanced meal.

Medical care. The Bridge of Hope leaders who care for the child you sponsor will monitor his or her health and provide care as needed. Extra attention is given in areas where malaria or tuberculosis is prevalent. In addition to periodic checkups and medical treatment, children also learn basic habits of good hygiene, such as washing hands, trimming fingernails and bathing regularly.

Development of social skills and self-confidence. From the earliest ages in kindergarten, children are given opportunities to play games and practice basic rules of courtesy.

One hundred percent of all contributions designated for use on the mission field are sent to the mission field.

Since the ministry began, we have sent 100 percent of field sponsorship to the nations we serve and trusted the Lord to provide for our overhead costs.

At the same time, we do our part to keep these expenses very low. For instance, our home office staff members raise their own financial support, which covers their salary and benefits, helping keep our overhead costs at a minimum.

The Lord has been faithful to meet our every need for more than 3 decades, and we give Him glory and thanks.

What If I Can't Afford A Monthly Sponsorship?
